The Apex Flow V2, made with Yamamoto neoprene, is the most advanced wetsuit by Orca, thanks to its unique flexibility and buoyancy. Aimed at the most demanding triathletes, the suit offers the best materials and technologies on the market. It’s designed to maximize your legs’ elevation, helping correct posture and ease your body into the most hydrodynamic position possible. The new Apex Flow V2 has been designed with a new shoulder patterning that reduces tension in this area and improves your freedom of movement. Plus, the change in the arm graphics has helped to achieve a minor improvement in terms of elasticity compared to the previous version

Buoyancy without restriction

If you have a good stroke technique but need extra support and buoyancy to maintain the correct position in the water, the Apex Flow V2 is your wetsuit. The combination of technologies with maximum elasticity, like Yamamoto 44+ and 0.88 Free technology in the arms, allows you to swim without restrictions. Plus, the new innovative patterning in the shoulders offers you even more freedom, resulting in a swimming experience like no other.

Maximum speed

Elasticity, buoyancy, and hydrodynamics combine to provide you with the most technologically advanced wetsuit in our triathlon range.

Posture correction

A good position in the water improves your hydrodynamics, helping you save seconds during the swim stage. To provide you with that extra buoyancy, we’ve incorporated Exo-Lift and Aerodrome technologies into the wetsuit’s lower torso. With the Apex Flow V2, no triathlon race will be too much for you.

Fast stroke

The high degree of elasticity in the shoulders, arms, and back areas, combined with the materials’ quick recovery, allows you to carry out your stroke naturally, without restriction, so that you can perform at your best during your competitions. It’s not easy to improve this product significantly, but at Orca, we’ve sought to improve even the smallest of details, for example, we’ve removed the graphics on the shoulders to provide even greater elasticity.

Quick transition

The use of highly hydrophobic materials allows you to take your suit off quickly, saving you seconds during the transition of your next triathlon competition.

High elasticity materials, create more flexible wetsuits that adapt better to the swimmer’s body than those with less elasticity. Elasticity in the shoulders is essential for efficient swimming without restrictions.

If you’re choosing a wetsuit with less flexibility, you should select a size that fits well to your body. Follow these five points for your perfect fit;

  • The suit should fit you snugly around the chest and neck to prevent water from entering and to keep your body at the right temperature.
  • The crotch area should fit snugly but not too tightly. If it’s too loose, wrinkles will form that could cause you discomfort and greater resistance when swimming.
  • The length of the arms and legs should be correct, ending at your wrists and ankles so as not to interfere with your swimming.
  • There must be no gaps between your body and the wetsuit. The gaps let water in, creating extra resistance which will slow you down.

A well-fitting wetsuit improves performance and provides you with greater comfort and safety in the water. Follow the five-point check to find your fit and use the size wetsuit size guide and TRUFIT to check your size.

The suit should fit you snugly in the chest and neck to prevent water from entering and to keep your body at the right temperature. A suit that’s too small could cause a feeling of tightness, making it difficult to breathe and preventing you from moving your body in a way that’s comfortable for you. A suit that’s too big will let water in, which will negatively affect your buoyancy and body temperature.

Elasticity in the shoulders is essential for efficient swimming without restrictions. If the suit is too tight in the shoulders, the material will stretch in excess and will limit your range of movement, meaning you’ll be swimming in discomfort. Test the suit by moving your arms in every direction to make sure you can do so without any limitations.

The crotch area should fit snugly but not too tightly. If it’s too loose, wrinkles will form that could cause you discomfort and greater resistance when swimming. If it’s too tight, it will pull down from the shoulders, limiting your range of movement and causing discomfort in your upper body area.

The length of the arms and legs should be correct,
ending at your wrists and ankles so as not to interfere with your swimming. A suit that’s too short will not significantly affect your performance but a suit that’s too long definitely will. Excess material in the arms and legs can create resistance and can make it more difficult for you to move.

Face the Water Wetsuit Care Guide

At Face the Water, we want you to get the most out of your wetsuit. Proper care will help maintain flexibility, insulation, and durability over time. Follow these essential care tips to keep your wetsuit in top condition.

1. Rinse After Every Use
After each use, rinse your wetsuit thoroughly with fresh water to remove salt, chlorine, sand, and other contaminants.

2. Use pH-Neutral Soap
When cleaning your wetsuit, use a small amount of pH-neutral soap to gently cleanse the neoprene.

3. Dry Properly
Turn your wetsuit inside out and hang it by the waist to dry naturally. Avoid direct sunlight and heat sources, as they can damage the material.

4. Store Correctly
Ensure Velcro closures are covered or fastened to prevent damage. Store your wetsuit in a cool, dry place, hanging it by the waist or on a wide hanger to avoid stress on the shoulders.
